Easter and bluebonnets!

We had a great Easter this year with family. This was Logan’s first year to participate in the egg hunt and he had a lot of fun filling up his basket! After the Easter festivities we drove out to our land to check it out and our neighbors have a nice size patch of bluebonnets she said we could use for some pictures. A storm was about to roll in and Logan’s hair was a mess but the boys both had cute Easter outfits on so I figured we would go for it right then and take a few shots. So glad I did! They cooperated pretty well and I think they turned out pretty cute! So nice of my neighbors to let us trample a few of their flowers! :p

The green grass grows!

We went out to our land this past weekend to check on our trees and check our mail. My parents had Tristan on a camping trip so Logan got to spend the day with us by himself. We stopped by a small town farm and feed store on our way there to check it out. It was the coolest store and they had lots of animals (baby chicks, birds, guinea pigs, and a donkey). Logan LOVED the animals. He was squealing at the birds and he kept going back to the baby chicks to look at them and talk to them. We bought some local honey and some bones for Maggie and then headed out to Gunter.

When we got to our land I was blown away by how beautiful it is right now. The grass is so green and pretty and there are lots of flowers everywhere. Our fruit trees are starting to bloom. We even have a few little peaches growing!
