We will be building a workshop to go with our house and originally we were going to build it first that way we would have something to store our furniture and stuff in if we need to. But I was a little skeptical about building the workshop first in case I didn’t like where it was after we built the house. So we did some research and decided on just buying a shipping container for now. We got a 8′ by 40′ one so it should give us plenty of storage room and we can move it or sell it eventually if we want to. It gives us a little more flexibility right now. We are planning on selling our house this coming summer so we need the storage room to declutter. We will be meeting with some builders early next year. We may decide to go ahead and build in 2015 instead of 2016 like we planned depending on how the meetings go. If not, then we are going to sell our house and probably rent something for a year while we build that way Tristan can start first grade at Gunter ISD. We will see! I was super nervous about getting the container delivered because we weren’t sure they would be able to turn down our driveway and we kept getting rain so we had to reschedule them a few times. Luckily this past Friday they were able to deliver it and they were able to get down our driveway with no problems! It was close but they made it! Such a relief!
